BA Media Production and Journalism

This program prepares you to pursue careers in journalism, videography, broadcast production and more. You will also develop in-demand skills, such as oral and written communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and professionalism. You can also advance your education by attending graduate school. Our program combines aspects of journalism, broadcasting and audio/video production and web design with innovative technology to give you the skills you need to be a successful media professional. Plus, you’ll get valuable hands-on experience that will give you an edge in a competitive job market. Our students receive hands-on experience in our on-campus broadcast facilities. MSU-TV is a three-camera television studio where students create original programming. Morehead State Public Radio is the campus radio station and a National Public Radio member station.
