This program provides associate degree dental hygienists from accredited institutions an opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) degree. All Dental Hygiene Department educational programs are based on academic excellence, and the values of community involvement, ethical conduct and social responsibility. Completion of a baccalaureate degree provides dental hygienists with new and relevant employment opportunities as oral healthcare professionals. An important benefit may be broadening employment prospects in traditional and/or non-traditional work settings.
High school class rank in the upper 50th percentile, Foreign transcripts, TOEFL ibT of 61, IELTS of 6 or higher, Resume, ACT, PSAT or SAT composite score at or above national median, A GED transcript with test scores, GPA of 3.0, An official transcript from the secondary school must be submitted directly from the issuing school(s). US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: In the United States, Medicine and Dentistry are normally graduate-entry professional programs. Students usually complete a four-year bachelor’s degree, including required pre-medical or pre-dental science courses, before applying through the relevant professional admission process. Veterinary Medicine is also commonly a graduate-entry pathway. Therefore, high-school applicants normally shortlist an undergraduate major such as Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences or another suitable subject rather than applying directly to Medicine or Dentistry.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
