Program Overview

The corporate fitness concentration prepares students to work in corporate and commercial fitness settings, developing exercise and wellness programming for company employees and clients. Kinesiology majors interested in this concentration should also consider obtaining a business minor. Specific paradigms for this minor are determined with the Department of Economics and Business.

Additional Information & Requirements

Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50; Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75 in all basic and applied sciences; and Complete each of the required courses in the kinesiology major with a grade of C or better. Failure to achieve a grade of C or better in any required course necessitates repeating the course. The Gordon College policy on repeating courses stated in this catalog must be followed.A student failing to meet these academic standards will be given one semester and the summer term to attain these requirements. Failure to meet these standards will result in dismissal from the major.
