The PLU Kinesiology major provides quality academic professional preparation in areas related to the study of human movement, especially as it supports the pursuit of lifelong physical activity and wellbeing, with applications to a wide array of allied health, medicine, fitness, education, sport, and recreation related professions. Students participate in a semester long internship or student teaching experience in public schools, government agencies or private corporations and agencies. Opportunities for facultystudent research and collaboration are also available.

The maximum GPA for PLU admission and financial aid purposes is 4.00, Official Transcripts and Reports, Standardized Test Scores;ACT or SAT scores; SAT1160, 24ACT minimum score, Personal Essay, and an academic recommendation.
