Program Overview

The Youth Movement Science track in Kinesiology will focus on training students on how to help children develop healthy habits. Students in the Youth Movement Science track will follow the PHETE (Physical and Health Education Teacher Education) curricula with the exception of their internship. Students in the Youth Movement Science track will finish their Kinesiology degree with an internship in a youth fitness setting e.g. YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Gymnastics Center or Dance Studio.
