4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Morehead State University

Program Overview

Our Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance (CTMR) program will give you the practical knowledge and hands-on skills to set you on the path to a rewarding career in medical imaging. You learn through clinical practicum placements in healthcare facilities throughout the region.

The Morehead State University CT/MR program offers all didactic courses via distance education. Students can attend classes on MSU's campus or at various locations throughout the state.

Blackboard Learn, a widely used Learning Management System (LMS) in educational institutions worldwide, offers various tools and features to ensure the integrity of distance education courses. The process to assure integrity encompasses several key areas, including course design, content delivery, student authentication, and assessment integrity. The program also uses a Lockdown browser to maintain testing integrity. You’ll be ready to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification exam, qualifying you to work in medical imaging at hospitals, doctor’s offices, outpatient imaging centers, education, research, sales, and applications. You’ll also learn important skills like speaking and writing clearly, working well with others, thinking critically, and being professional.
