Program Overview

Alma College approaches nursing education a bit differently from other schools. Our four-year program encourages nursing students to take classes in other academic programs that complement and expand their nursing-specific courses, incorporating critical thinking, ethics, research, communication, leadership and creativity.In addition to excellent clinical experience, Alma students learn the connections between the natural sciences such as biology and chemistry and other academic disciplines including history, political science, sociology, health care administration, communication and the arts.

Official secondary school transcripts, in English, provided to Alma College directly from your school, English Language Proficiency: TOEFL iBT score of 79, IELTS score of 6.5, Total SAT score of 980 or ACT score of 18, ELS Language Center Level 112, Grade of C or higher in English Composition from an accredited U.S. college/university, SAT Reading score of 500 or an ACT English score of 20 may also be utilized, international students on F-1 or J-1 visa are required to provide evidence of sufficient finances, Valid Passport copy
