The Department of Nursing dynamically embraces and celebrates diversity, courage, and seamless learning in leading and mentoring communities of students, faculty and the profession to shape the future of health care.The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program offers the Pre-Licensure option for individuals with no previous nursing background. The nursing curriculum provides the student with classroom and clinical instruction in basic nursing skills, medical-surgical, home health, critical care, mental health, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, community health, research, and leadership & management, culminating with a senior clinical study in an area of the student's interest.
Complete a high/secondary school curriculum which totals 12 years of primary-secondary education, and earn a graduation diploma or certificate, 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on the 4.0 grading scale, Official high school transcript (academic record), Test scores: TOEFL ibT of 61, IELTS of 6.0, SAT and ACT scores.
