Program Overview

At the completion of the program, students are awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and are eligible to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX). Passage of this exam is required for employment as a Registered Nurse. In addition, graduates are also eligible for certification as a Public Health Nurse in California.

For admission to the CSU, graduation from high school and receipt of a high school diploma are admission requirements. At the baccalaureate level, a minimum score of 500 on the paperbased exam or a score of 61 on the internet (TOEFL iBT) version is required on most campuses; ACTSAT Scores.
