Designed for working RNs, the RN-BSN program is fully online with optional campus visit opportunities if one-on-one instruction is desired. Complete one of the Dominican University online applications, must submit official, translated transcripts from secondary schools and colleges/universities that have been attended, Proof of English Language Proficiency: Computer-based TOEFL: minimum score of 213, Internet-based TOEFL: minimum score of 79--80, International English Language Testing System IELTS: minimum score of 7, Completion of English 101 and 102 or equivalent with C- or better at a U.S. college or university, Completion of ELS 112, must submit a Financial Statement, documentation which provides proof of funds, submit a photocopy of their passport and visa, Personal Statement, Current resume, Two letters of recommendation US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally expected to show strong preparation in Biology and Chemistry, with Mathematics or Physics helpful for some programs. Healthcare volunteering, public-health initiatives, scientific research, first-aid training, community service and supervised clinical exposure may demonstrate empathy, responsibility and understanding of healthcare. Requirements differ considerably by program, particularly for direct-entry Nursing, Pharmacy and allied-health degrees.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
