The Basic Baccalaureate Program is the traditional program designed for high school graduates and transfer students. This program integrates knowledge of the arts and sciences with nursing theory to provide a framework for professional practice. The program is designed to be completed in four years. The three major elements of the nursing curriculum are general education courses, cognate courses and required nursing courses. This program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Transcripts from the previously attended schools, High school transcripts, English language profeciency test scores (minimum score of 79 for TOEFL and 6.5 for IELTS), SAT and ACT test scores, Essay US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally expected to show strong preparation in Biology and Chemistry, with Mathematics or Physics helpful for some programs. Healthcare volunteering, public-health initiatives, scientific research, first-aid training, community service and supervised clinical exposure may demonstrate empathy, responsibility and understanding of healthcare. Requirements differ considerably by program, particularly for direct-entry Nursing, Pharmacy and allied-health degrees.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
