A collaboration offering the Carlow Bachelor of Science in Nursing program on the Saint Vincent campus.By partnering with Carlow University, Saint Vincent College is offering nursing students a high-quality education from a school with a rich history of nursing innovation. Carlow's Department of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1948 -- more than 70 years, Today, Carlow's College of Health and Wellness continues that tradition of excellence.Saint Vincent College has a long tradition of excellence in preparing students for careers in medical and health fields. This collaboration opens the College to a new direction in health-related opportunities for students.In addition to the nursing courses taught by Carlow faculty, students will complete general education, support and liberal arts courses to complete core requirements, all taught by Saint Vincent faculty.Saint Vincent College has a history of more than 170 years of excellence in the liberal arts and sciences. Graduates of our programs in the Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing have a rich heritage of success in many health-related disciplines including allopathic and osteopathic medicine, physician assistant, physical therapy, pharmacy, occupational therapy and nursing.The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program will be housed in the Sis and Herman Dupr Science Pavilion, which includes the new James F. Will Engineering and Biomedical Sciences Hall, featuring a new human anatomy lab that allows students to assist and learn from outstanding area surgeons.
