The philosophy of the nursing program delineates the faculty s beliefs regarding the nature of the individual, health, environment, nursing, teaching-learning, and baccalaureate nursing education.
Submit Admissions Application. Submit official high school, college, and/or university transcripts to WES or ECE for evaluation. If applicable, submit official transcripts from all U.S. colleges and/or universities attended. Graduate from high school with a CGPA of 3.00 or above on a 4.00 scale. Score 1000 or above on the SAT or 21 or above on the ACT. Complete, in high school, one unit of biology and one unit of Chemistry. A grade of C or above must be earned in each of these courses. Complete two units of high school mathematics one of the completed unit must include algebra. Submit SAT 1 or ACT test scores. If applicable, submit results of an English as a Second Language Program from all U.S. Colleges or Universities attended. Submit official test scores from the IELTS: Minimum 5.0 or TOEFL: Minimum of 62 Internet-based or 500 Paper-based. Submit a Financial Affidavit of support and supporting bank letter. US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally expected to show strong preparation in Biology and Chemistry, with Mathematics or Physics helpful for some programs. Healthcare volunteering, public-health initiatives, scientific research, first-aid training, community service and supervised clinical exposure may demonstrate empathy, responsibility and understanding of healthcare. Requirements differ considerably by program, particularly for direct-entry Nursing, Pharmacy and allied-health degrees.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school. Relevant APs can strengthen an application and may earn university credit, but are not compulsory unless the university or programme explicitly requires them.Essays & recommendations: Personal essays and teacher/counselor recommendations give context to your achievements and help demonstrate fit with the program.Nurse
