BSN Nursing

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of North Carolina Greensboro

Program Overview

The UNCG School of Nursing has a long-standing reputation of excellence in the education of nurses. UNCG offers two paths to the BSN: the pre-licensure path for traditional, transfer, and second-degree students, and the RN to BSN track for currently licensed RNs who are graduates of either associate degree or diploma programs. Graduates of UNCG's BSN program are leaders in the health care field across the state, region, and nation. At UNCG, professional nursing education is built upon the foundation of a broad general education that includes the liberal arts, social and behavioral sciences, and physical and biological sciences. The baccalaureate program prepares students to practice professional nursing based on inquiry, caring, and standards of practice and to function independently and collaboratively within the health care system to deliver evidenced-based nursing care to individuals, families, groups, and communities.
