Program Overview

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a four (4) year degree program that prepares students for careers in nursing and qualifies them for continued academic and professional advancement as health professionals. The BSN curriculum is rooted in the values of our Jesuit mission and a liberal arts education. Students are taught to think critically and communicate effectively, and to transfer these skills to their nursing practice as well as their community.The program utilizes a hands-on approach to nursing education. Students have the opportunity to strengthen their clinical skills and evaluation techniques by using real-world tools provided by the Clinical Skills Lab and Simulation Center. Class schedules and curriculum are customized to student needs and professional/educational backgrounds.
