NSU’s Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition program provides you with a strong foundation in anatomy, chemistry, biochemistry, and microbiology as it relates to human nutrition and health, dietetics practice, community programming, and food service management. In this program, you’ll have opportunities to conduct research, work on global and domestic outreach initiatives and collaborate with students and faculty at NSU’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our hands-on and interdisciplinary approach to your education will prepare you to excel in this career.

Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally expected to show strong preparation in Biology and Chemistry, with Mathematics or Physics helpful for some programs. Healthcare volunteering, public-health initiatives, scientific research, first-aid training, community service and supervised clinical exposure may demonstrate empathy, responsibility and understanding of healthcare. Requirements differ considerably by program, particularly for direct-entry Nursing, Pharmacy and allied-health degrees.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
