A BS in Nutrition and Dietetics is offered jointly between Thomas Edison State College or the Newark College of Arts and Sciences. The program is designed for those individuals who have earned previous degrees and/or course credits and wish to apply these to the foundational general educational requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Thomas Edison State College provides the foundational general education content that is prerequisite to the professional academic and fieldwork education delivered by the School of Health Related Professions.

The Rutgers School of Health Professions offices a Associate in Science degree program in Occupational Therapy Assistant. This 74-credit degree program prepares students as professionals who contribute to the health and well-being of all populations in New Jersey and beyond. Our graduates serve people of all ages who experience illness, disease, disability, disadvantages, trauma, and challenging life circumstances, helping them to adapt through participation in meaningful occupations. The Occupational Therapy Assitant graduate is prepared to practice as a dynamic and inter-professional team member, working under the supervision of an occupational therapist, within health care, educational, and other community systems.
