A number of people who come through our program are not interested in becoming registered dietitians but do want to pursue careers that require a background in food and nutrition. That s why we created the food and nutrition major; it s the ideal program if you want to incorporate nutrition into your profession without committing to a career as a dietitian. You ll build from a broad understanding of culinary skills and personal nutrition. You ll also have the opportunity to choose a minor or cognate that best suits your desired career path
