Speech-language pathology and audiology careers are rewarding and diverse. Speech-Language Pathology careers involve diagnosing and treating articulation, stuttering, voice problems and swallowing disorders. Speech pathologists work with patients who have problems speaking, are unable to understand language or have voice disorders. Audiologists specialize in the prevention, identification, treatment and management of hearing loss, balance problems, and central auditory processing problems, using advanced technology and procedures to work the patients.
