Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Pharmacy

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University of Cincinnati

Program Overview

This degree path is designed for students who will complete an interdisciplinary liberal arts bachelors degree in addition to the Pharm-D degree. Students will complete all the pre-pharm requirements in three years along with making progress on degree requirements so that they will be on track to complete a BA degree at the end of the fourth year (which coincides with the first professional year in the UC College of Pharmacy). This degree uses coursework and part of a longitudinal project from the first professional year to complete undergraduate degree requirements, including the capstone. Students in this program will have the advantage of acquiring the intellectual knowledge and practical skills of a liberal arts education while gaining the added credential of the undergraduate degree in addition to the Pharmacy degree.
