The bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy degree is designed for students interested in working with individuals suffering from impaired lung and heart function. You'll learn to exam, diagnose, and create a treatment plan to improve patients' lives.
The Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy degree is in partnership with the Cape Girardeau Career & Technology Center. Students will complete all general education and health-focused coursework at Southeast Missouri State University in the first two years of the program and the final two years completing respiratory therapy coursework at the Career & Technology Center. This program is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).

Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally expected to show strong preparation in Biology and Chemistry, with Mathematics or Physics helpful for some programs. Requirements differ considerably by program, particularly for direct-entry Nursing, Pharmacy and allied-health degrees.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
