Students in the BS in Public Health program learn how to create and implement health education programs and policies that target issues as diverse as cancer, obesity, sexuality, osteoporosis, violence, maternal and child health, substance abuse, adolescent health, stress and many more. With an emphasis on improving health outcomes among underserved populations, the BS in Public Health program prepares graduates for careers in public health settings such as health departments, nonprofits, hospitals, insurance companies, and government agencies.
