Program Overview

The bachelor of science in nursing (B.S.N.) curriculum includes courses in the humanities and arts, social sciences, natural sciences and nursing science. Taken concurrently with these courses, nursing clinical courses enable students to immediately apply their learning to actual client, family and community situations that require nursing intervention. Nursing experience in a primary care rural clinic site is included during senior year. Graduates are equipped for a beginning professional role with clients of all ages in any health care setting and have an excellent foundation for graduate study.
