The biomedical science degree is designed to fulfill the admission requirements for medical or veterinary school while providing in-depth training in the biological sciences. Biomedical science students build a strong foundation in mathematics, chemistry and biology and take specialized courses in anatomy, microbiology, genetics, physiology, developmental biology and immunology.Whether you want to explore the mysteries of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, become a leader in cancer research or gain entry into a prestigious medical, veterinary or dental school, Florida Tech offers a biomedical science degree program that provides a strong biology background. Two biology advising seminars, one of which is specifically designed for pre-med students, help you choose your specialty and outline your course of study.
