The Mathematics Program at Austin College is a small, tight-knit group of faculty and students who are all passionate about math, problem solving, and quantitative reasoning. At Austin College, you will be in small math classes, allowing you to have a personalized and friendly math education. Our faculty are all experts in a variety of areas of mathematics, giving you the flexibility to explore your particular interests. We provide plenty of opportunities for meaningful and collaborative research projects throughout the year and in the summers.

Profile Assessment: Science applicants are generally assessed on the rigour of their Mathematics and laboratory-science coursework. Relevant preparation may include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus or Statistics, depending on the intended field. Research, science fairs, Olympiads, laboratory exposure, independent investigation and environmental or community-science projects can demonstrate scientific curiosity and analytical thinking.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
