Program Overview

The mathematical science degree curriculum is designed primarily for dual majors in biology, chemistry, physics or an engineering discipline. During the first two years of study, students in this program take the same courses as those students getting an applied mathematics degree, followed by upper-division mathematics courses (such as numerical analysis and modeling) in the final two years.
