Mathematics in Manhattan college

As a mathematics major, you will sharpen your analytical skills and become a better problem-solver.

You will develop the quantitative and statistical reasoning tools to succeed in across a variety of disciplines and careers paths.

The mathematics major begins with calculus classes, which are enhanced by MAPLE, the computer algebra system. Courses in algebra and analysis build depth.

• GPA of 3.4 out of (4.0 score)
• An official secondary/high school transcript indicating courses completed and grades.
• TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor is required. You may submit up to three academic letters. You are also permitted to submit an additional character reference.
• A brief personal statement or college essay, using either the Manhattan College essay topic or one of the Common Application essay topics. This essay should be roughly 500 words.
• Copy of Passport Photo Page
• Bank Statement and Affidavit or Financial Guarantee.
