Program Overview

The Mathematics Department offers an exciting environment for collegiate study with an award-winning, internationally renowned faculty. Small class sizes make it easy to interact with the faculty, and innovative courses such as the project-oriented Math Modeling course enhance the curriculum. Offering both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, students have the option in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. Both degrees include courses in accounting, economics and finance and prepares students for careers in actuarial science and for graduate study in finance or economics. Courses to expect for this major include Trigonometry, Differential Equations, Calculus of Several Variables and Introduction to Analysis.
