The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts 23% job growth for mathematicians around the country from 2012-2022 more than double the growth rate across all industries in the U.S.USF s Department of Mathematics and Statistics is both academically rigorous and highly social. Our students work hard, but do so within a strong community of like-minded scholars. Weekly Math Tea, regular colloquia, and ongoing undergraduate research projects are just a sample of the many opportunities to foster these close relationships with fellow students and faculty members.
