BS Statistics

The Bachelor of Science in Statistics provides fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for students to succeed in areas involving the collection, analysis, modeling, and presentation of data. This major will help students build critical thinking skills in data analysis and research. With the knowledge this program provides, students will be able to

1. Choose to work in variety of fields – agriculture, education, environmental & social sciences, finance, government, healthcare, psychology, and more.
2. Pursue several different careers in industry with job titles such as actuary, analyst, data scientist, and statistical consultant.
3. Advance their studies in graduate school.
