Program Overview

The athletic training profession has moved the degree for athletic training from a bachelors to a masters, effective in summer 2020. Otterbein University and the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the Higher Learning Commission have approved our transition to the master's degree, therefore we will not be accepting any further applications for the B.S. in Athletic Training degree. The Masters of Athletic Training Program at Otterbein University is seeking approval from the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).

Common Application, including essay, Official transcripts/documents for four years of high school/secondary school grades 9-12, Proof of English Proficiency: 79 or higher on the Internet-based TOEFL iBT, 550 or higher on the paper-based TOEFL PBT, 53 or higher on the Pearson PTE, 6.5 or higher on the International English Language Testing System IELTS, 105 or higher on the Duolingo English Test, 21 or higher on the English section of the ACT Test, 550 or higher on the Evidence-based Reading and Writing ERW section on the SAT, 112 Level Certificate from ELS, Official Bank Statements and Sponsor Guarantee form, Copy of passport and current visa
