Students who major in philosophy must demonstrate second semester proficiency in a foreign language either by completing two semesters of one foreign language, with grades of C- (1.67) or better, or by receiving an equivalent score on a competence exam. Recommended languages for philosophy are Ancient Greek, Latin, French, and German.

High school transcript be sent upon graduation which must include your date of graduation and final GPA., Earn at least a 2.5 high school GPA; or. Rank in the top half of the school's graduating class; or. Earn an ACT composite score of 22 or higher, or SAT total score of 1120 or higher (exception: MSU Northern: ACT score of 20, SAT score of 1050).The TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB are also required of international applicants who are not graduates of an English-speaking university.
