Program Overview

The congregational leadership concentration or minor provides you with an overview of the diverse aspects of congregation-based ministry work. A field experience and practicum are required for the congregation leadership program in addition to coursework in broad ministry areas such as preaching, worship, organization and leadership for ministry, evangelism and pastoral counseling. When you select the congregational leadership concentration or minor you'll also acquire competency in biblical and theological reflection and are will be prepared for entry-level positions in congregational and para-church ministries.
