Program Overview

The religious studies program at USU is the only one of its kind in Utah and one of only three in the Intermountain West.It provides a neutral place to study religion and its role in society, whether or not students are privately religious.Students who graduate from the program obtain cultural literacy about religion.They master skills of critical thinking and expression applicable in diverse fields whether students are preparing for law school, work in international relations, service with religious groups and charitable organizations, or many other careers.

Official high school/secondary school transcripts with grades from the last three years with a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 656 total on the General Education Development (GED) exam (550 Battery Average prior to 2014).Official ACT or SAT exam results are required.The English language requirement: TOEFL-71, IELTS- 6.0.Affidavit of Financial Support and Bank Statement Cpoy.
