The Criminal and Social Justice major provides students with a comprehensive understanding of criminality and criminal justice in modern society. Students are introduced to leading theories of criminality and explore the social, economic and psychological factors that underpin criminal behavior. At the same time, students gain an indepth understanding of the political, legal, judicial, and lawenforcement institutions that control and punish criminal behavior.
