Our program is available to students of any major who may be interested in pursuing a career in law or law-related fields. You will work with a dedicated pre-law faculty coordinator who will help you tailor a program to your individual needs and interests.Through a special combined admission program between Iona College and Seton Hall University Law School you can save time and tuition by earning your bachelor's and JD degree in just six years,You will develop skills required both at law school and in a legal career, including advanced writing and communication abilities.You will explore topics in law, criminal justice, political science, philosophy, logic and other areas to provide you with a strong foundation, which will serve you well in any career.

A 3.0 GPA prior to admission.Satisfactory GRE scores.A brief, typewritten autobiography, speaking to the candidate's family background, educational background, work experiences and the reasons for choosing teaching as a profession.An interview with a member of the education department.A program plan of study signed by the adviser, and, in the case of adolescence or secondary education programs, also signed by the chair of the subject area department.Sign a Dispositional Commitment Form.
