The Geneseo Pre-Law Program introduces students from all disciplines to the wide range of careers available to law school graduates, and prepares our students to successfully apply for, and succeed in, law school. Contrary to the common perception that law schools seek students who have majored in certain "pre-law" subjects, law schools are interested in high-achieving students regardless of discipline.

Completed Application Form; Official transcript; Proof of English Proficiency: TOEFL (internet-based minimum score: 75) Institution Code: 2540; IELTS (minimum score of 6.5 overall); PTE (minimum 58); iTEP (minimum 3.7); At least one letter of recommendation, preferably from a teacher; Personal Statement should be about one page long, detailing your interest in SUNY Geneseo and your major of choice; Passport ID page photocopy; Financial Statement of Support.
