The Department of Biological Sciences is the campus center for life sciences innovative learning activity and leading-edge research at the University at Buffalo. Housed within the Department of Biological Sciences, the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) program is an interdisciplinary program that provides students with training life science, mathematics and computing that are needed to the elucidate the molecular entities that govern biological organization at all levels, from molecules to ecosystems.
