BS Chemistry

As a PLU chemistry student, you'll work closely with professors who have expertise in all major branches of chemistry --- from organic and analytical to polymer and biochemistry. You'll learn how to synthesize molecules never made before, investigate molecular structure using spectroscopy and modeling, and learn about biochemical processes. You'll get handson experience on stateoftheart scientific instruments, have opportunities to participate in research projects and even can work toward American Chemical Society certification. In short, you will be very welltrained for employment or graduate study in chemistry.
