Program Overview

The B.S. in Chemistry is designed for students who intend to major in chemistry but may wish to pursue a career in some other field. The major is often chosen by students who intend to pursue postgraduate studies in medicine, dentistry, or veterinary medicine. To receive a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, students must complete all course requirements in Pathways and the curriculum of their chosen concentration. Chemistry majors must pass all of their Chemistry courses with a grade of C or higher.
