The B.S. major in chemistry is designed for students who intend to become professional chemists or do graduate work in chemistry or a closely related discipline. Students select either a traditional track that focuses on all the major areas of chemistry, or a track that specializes in biochemistry. Both options are certified by the American Chemical Society.
Official Transcripts, Letter of Recommendation, TOEFL score of 71 (iBT), 197 (cbt) or 527 (paper-based) or a minimum score of 6.0 on the IELTS US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Science applicants are generally assessed on the rigour of their Mathematics and laboratory-science coursework. Relevant preparation may include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus or Statistics, depending on the intended field. Research, science fairs, Olympiads, laboratory exposure, independent investigation and environmental or community-science projects can demonstrate scientific curiosity and analytical thinking.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
