Program Overview

Students interested in biochemistry can select the biochemistry track. In addition to the courses taken for the B.S. degree, classes in advanced biochemistry courses and research in biochemistry are expected. Advanced work may be in either the Department of Chemistry or other Departments on campus with permission of the Chair. This degree provides an excellent foundation for advanced studies in biochemistry, biophysics or related areas of molecular biology.
