Program Overview

The Department of Chemistry offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science degrees in chemistry. The Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a concentration in chemistry is also available. The Bachelor of Arts curriculum is designed to prepare undergraduate students for careers as professional chemists, entrance into medical or dental school. However, the Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry program is not designed to prepare students for entry into graduate school for chemistry.
