Program Overview

The bachelor of science in applied physics program allows students flexibility to obtain a secondary course of study in another field. Graduates with a BSAP have earned second majors in mathematics, chemistry, and engineering. This prepares the graduate to immediately enter the rapidly growing job market where people with technical specialized training are in high demand. It also prepares the student for graduate study in areas such as medical physics, engineering physics and physical chemistry. Further areas of study can be tailored to the student s interests.
