In the Interpersonal & Public Communication concentration, students develop verbal communication skills in an environment that gives equal attention to theory and practice. This concentration prepares students for careers in public relations, political campaigns, work in ministry and other non-profit organizations, and more. All Communication majors also take a foundational selection of courses in public speaking, communication law and research, public relations, mass media, graphic design, and journalism.
