Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts with a major in communication program at Trine University prepares students to solve 21st century problems. The major offers a comprehensive communication core that addresses the foundational skills necessary to work in a wide variety of areas. On campus, our communication majors have the opportunity to call games and work for the Sports Information office; they work for our marketing and admissions departments; and they get real-world experience working with our campus radio station, WEAX. Students who are more interested in developing skills in public relations have the opportunity to participate in event promotions within the department with the Humanities Symposia, Drama Club and the Overlooked Film Festival.
