Criminology at Cleveland State University involves the scientific study of crime, criminals, victimization, lawmaking, the criminal justice system and treatment of offenders, theories of crime, and crime prevention and policy. Students have many classes from which to choose, and also have the option of completing an internship. Most undergraduate students go on to employment in the criminal justice system or in social service settings, with some continuing their academic careers and attending graduate school or applying for law school.
