The economics faculty is committed to student learning as their first priority. We work closely with our majors to provide an exciting educational environment where students not only learn in the classroom but also have the opportunity to work cooperatively with the faculty on community-based projects. This small urban environment is a wonderful place for economics majors to learn and make a difference in the community through our many research and service learning opportunities. The Economics curriculum emphasizes both microeconomic and macroeconomic issues.
Grade 12 / High School, A (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale on high school coursework, ACT 22 or above on English test section and SAT 550 on the Verbal/Critical Reading or IELTS of 6.0 and TOEFL ibT of 71; PTE 48 US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally assessed on their preparation in English, social sciences, research and quantitative reasoning. Statistics may be particularly helpful for Psychology, Education Research, Public Policy and other research-based programs.
