The Department of Economics, Applied Statistics and International Business in the College of Business offers an economics major to Bachelor of Arts candidates in the College of Arts and Sciences. Qualified students are also prepared for graduate study in economics, business administration including management and law. Students who plan to pursue graduate work in economics or to become professional economic analysts should consider taking supplementary courses in accounting, computer science, mathematics, quantitative economics and/or statistics
