Bachelors in Women Gender and Sexuality Studies

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Brandeis University

Program Overview

Brandeis offers a major and minor for students interested in the dynamic field of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality (WGS) studies as well as a minor in Sexuality and Queer Studies. These programs draw an enthusiastic and diverse group of students who seek intellectual challenges and who are committed to social justice. The WGS major and minor draws on the humanities, arts and social sciences to explore a broad range of intellectual questions about the social positions of women, gendered constructions of knowledge, identity and culture and many aspects of sexuality. We are firmly committed to intersectional approaches in our curriculum that link gender and sexuality with race, class, religion, ethnicity, age, ability and nationality.
